Is it UNC year?
As stated in one of my earlier blogs, James McAdoo who is a top recruit, committed to UNC. Another top recruit that UNC is getting is PJ Hariston who is a 6-5 shooting guard. With UNC getting a great recruiting class coming in, UNC has a good shot of taking the title next year. A few of this years top player are either graduating or making the jump to the NBA. A few noticeable people who are making the jump are Kyrie Irving, Brandon Knight, Terrence Jones, Kemba Walker, and the Morris twins from Kansas. UNC is bringing back the core of this years sweet sixteen team.

Skys the limit
So the past couple of weeks, Skylar Diggins from Notre Dame has made a name for herself in the Women's NCAA tournament. Her and her team are remembered for knocking off the overall #1 seed UConn. Next season should definitely be a good year for her as junior point guard. One thing that I like about her game is that she is able to set her teammates up as well as get a shot for herself.

NCAA champs
Shout outs go to UConn Mens Basketball and Texas A&M Womens basketball. But more shout outs go to Skylar Diggins from Notre Dame. She's the truth!!
Stay or Go
During the best decade, the NBA has seen a trend of having player coming straight out of high school and entering the professional ranks. While some of these players succeed, plenty of them fail. The league then imposed that the player must be at least 1 year removed after high school. This resulted in top freshman basketball players in college leaving after their first year. Many schools are at a high turnover rate due to these players making the jump to the NBA. The latest person who is in this trend is Kyrie Irving from Duke. He is projected to be the top pick in next years draft. This past week he declared that he will be leaving Duke and entering the draft. The strange thing about this situation is that Irving has only played in 5 games total in his collegiate career due to injury and he is still favored by many NBA scouts. In my opinion, he should stay. What y'all think?
